Chemistry 30 Resources

Welcome to Chem 30

This collection of web resources contains materials for the core units of the Saskatchewan Evergreen Curriculum for Chemistry 30. Links to each unit are found in the gray navigation bar near the top of each page.

Each unit contains the following resource materials:

Student Materials

Each unit begins with a brief overview and an outline of the content. It is suggested that students follow the lessons as they are presented in the outline.

Each unit includes:

  • Simplified lesson notes
  • practice problems with solutions
  • assignments and worksheets
  • suggestions for lab activities
  • links to other web resources
  • ideas for research topics and suggestions for alternate ways to present your research

Teacher Resources

Teacher resources for each unit include:

  • An overview of the unit
  • Learning Objectives from Saskatchewan's Evergreen curriculum
  • Teacher's Lab - summaries of suggested labs; ideas for demonstrations and quick labs, a list of links to online movies and simulations
  • Other resources - lists and links to other resources for the unit.
  • Evaluation - Links to rubrics and other evaluation tools - for labs, group work, presentations, etc.
